Our Educators and Students are Doing Amazing Things!

NHS Involvement Fair
On Wednesday, October 15th, Newington High School held their annual Involvement Fair for all Freshmen and new students. Over 40 clubs and school organizations created promotional materials and had student leaders engage with the Freshmen and new students as they inquired about the groups and their purpose. The event provides a great opportunity to highlight all the options for students to engage in outside of the regular school day and find ways to build relationships with other students and staff. From Student Council to Table Tennis Club, the offerings at Newington High School provide different experiences and opportunities for all to enjoy. A huge thank you to all the advisors and students leaders who make this event so successful each year!

I just want to take this opportunity to thank both teachers and administrators for the continuous improvement efforts that we have already observed in our initial Rounds visits. You will receive specific feedback from your principal, but it is clear that we are off to a good start with our efforts to improve outcomes for all students.
